Each Gift Over $20 Receives a Community Share!

It's that time again -- ONE CALL FOR ALL time. Look out for those red envelopes in your mailbox. Do you give? We give! Thanks to all who check Helpline House's box.

Mission moment: 'I moved to Bainbridge Island, WA about five years ago and Helpline House directed me to Housing Resources Board as I needed an affordable apartment. That was the beginning of a wonderful support system that Helpline House has given me which has been appreciated more than any words can describe. The sense of security that came from my visits to the food bank, to receiving help from the professional counselors who helped guide me with valuable suggestions, especially their assistance when filling out required forms. All of the above contributed to my feelings of self-worth. The staff works very hard to meet the needs of a growing community that struggles with many challenges. For me that has meant so much. From the smile of welcome from the receptionist, to all the amazing volunteers, it is a place of genuine caring...people helping each other and it is this caring that is so badly needed during these difficult times. This is what makes a huge difference in people's lives.

We’ve Moved—Just Around the Corner!

Helpline House is now temporarily located at 901 Hildebrand Lane, near the north end of Ericksen Avenue, for approximately 12 months during the construction of our new facility. Thanks to a lease partnership with Clark Construction and the support of our board and volunteer Michael Wright, we continue to offer uninterrupted services to the community.

“As we transition to our new space, we remain deeply committed to serving Bainbridge Island with care and compassion,” said Maria Metzler, Executive Director. “We’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful to stay connected during this time of growth.”

Closed: Christmas, New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving weekend.
