Trauma & Recovery Support Group

Updated: Apr 16, 2020

The Trauma and Recovery Group offers support for clients with the primary goal for people who have experienced trauma, as well as for their families, and their care providers. Recovery does not necessarily mean complete freedom from post-traumatic affects. Recovery is an individual experience and will be and look different for everyone. In general, the goal of this 12 week group is for members to experience recovery as the ability to live in the present without being overwhelmed by the thoughts and feelings of the past.

Group therapy helps you realize you’re not alone, facilitates giving and receiving support, helps you find your “voice", helps you relate to others (and yourself) in healthier ways, and provides a safety net.

If you think group therapy is for you, call 206.842.7621 or walk-in on a weekday between 9 am and 5 pm to sign up at the front desk. The 12 week session begins on Monday, May 13.
