MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT PERFORMING ON

THE BI PARKS & REC STAGE AT HELPLINE HOUSE

11:15 AM - 12:15 PM 4 Sheets To The Wind is a group of musicians getting together to get in the groove. Playing hits from the 60’s to present day. Artists such as Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead and Ben Harper can be heard. Tap your foot or dance like their ain’t no tomorrow; 4 Sheets To The Wind loves playing for you.

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Ranger and the Re-Arrangers evoke the spirit of a Paris cafe and the raucous energy of a Gypsy campsite with their version of Gypsy jazz.  Ranger and his father Michael formed the band in 2006 after a pilgrimage to the world’s foremost Gypsy Jazz event, the Django Reinhardt festival in Samois Sur Seine, France. The band’s repertoire includes swing standards, traditional Gypsy melodies, the music of Django Reinhardt, and Ranger's unique originals.

The band has now released 4 CDs and performs over 100 times each year at music festivals, concerts in the park, swing dances, weddings and events of all sorts.

3:00 PM - 4 PM Redshift presents a mixture of jazz standards and original music that invites the audience to relax to the smooth sounds or to explore the musical depth that the music offers. Dave Bristow (piano), Kurt Bischoff (drums), Neil Conaty (bass) and Kurt Festinger (sax) all share a lifetime of professional  musical experiences and the bands’ performance reflects this, ranging through a variety of styles including original material, swing, latin, blues, ballad and fusion. The music has a polished and integrated ensemble sound, with each player contributing genuinely interesting musical content. The quartet is available for bookings in the Bainbridge Island/Seattle/Kitsap/Jefferson area.

This event has something for everyone, and most of all, we hope our neighbors walk away knowing they are the reason Helpline House has an integral place in this community.

For anyone who loves to get involved, volunteers are always welcome!   Please contact Debbie at volunteerservices@helplinehouse.org with any questions or go to HelplineHouse.org/volunteer
