Register for Hunger Action Day!

Monday, February 11 is Hunger Action Day 2019! Doors open at 8:30am and our program begins promptly at 9:30am – see you at United Churches of Olympia (hint: it’s the church kitty-corner to Capitol campus)

During each legislative session, the Anti-Hunger & Nutrition Coalition hosts Hunger Action Day, our lobby day in Olympia that highlights issues facing hungry families in Washington State, and brings their stories and priorities to legislators in the positions to make change that reduces hunger.

Over the years, the Coalition has successfully brought hunger advocates to Olympia to advocate for strategic policy and state appropriations to maximize federal nutrition programs, reinforce our community-based emergency food assistance system, and link local farmers with the needs of the hungry.
